A SportzVault home page is made up of the following items which display in the following order within the standard SportzVault framework:

In this way it is possible for a home page to be completely tailored for a particular need. Example scenarios are:

Maintaining html content in the home page files

Mode: Website Menu: Site...Content...Html Pages

  1. Choose Content...Html Pages...Home Page(top or bottom depending on the part of the home page you wish to edit.)
  2. The Html Page Maintenance screen opens. The Page Identifier indicates the type of page being edited and cannot be changed.
  3. Add your content in the Page Content Editor control. More information about adding Html type content to SportzVault.
  4. Click Update to save changes, which will be immediately be available on the public site.
To abandon changes and reload the current page, click Reload To abandon changes, simply exit the page.

If you are copying content into the editor from another source (Word Document, PDF, Website etc...) the editor may interpret formatting tags attached to the content in unexpected ways. Complications can be avoided by first pasting the content into a format free document (Eg: Notepad .txt file) and then copying the content of this file into the editor.

The content can also be saved as a Template, for reuse in building other pages. More information about Html templates.
